Hearing from young people and our CEO

You’ll hear directly from young people we work with, sharing their stories, hopes and experiences. Our CEO, Dom Wood, will also speak about our vision and the impact your support helps make possible.

FAQs

FAQs

Why Sleep Out?

Sleep Out raises vital funds to both support and provide vital services to young people facing homelessness and leaving care.

Sleep Out is not intended to replicate the harsh experience of rough sleeping. It is a chance to come together as a community to help prevent homelessness, keep young people safe, and support them to build on their strengths to be the best they can be.

Sleep Out can be both a challenging and fun evening which brings together like-minded people who care about young people in Bristol and the South West who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It is also our biggest fundraising event of the year, encouraging individuals and businesses across the area to support our work.

We hope that, as you hunker down into your sleeping bag, you will consider some of the experiences you will hear about throughout the evening from some of the young people we support, our CEO, and other supporters.
