Our services are staying open wherever is possible, and young people can be supported in the community. We are putting together plans to deliver that within minimal disruption.

We have and will continue to follow most recent government advice regarding our response for young people, and colleagues.
We understand this is a very uncertain time for young people, and are making sure they have access to the most recent information as well as some general guidance.
To all our friends and supporters, we hope you are in a safe place and have the support networks you need around you at this difficult time.

1625 Independent People is a charity that supports young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.  For over 30 years we have provided essential services to young people and we partner with agencies across the South West so that together we can change lives.

We provide a broad range of care for young people.  We find secure homes, teach life-skills, offer advice, help access training and job opportunities. Most importantly, we help young people to live happily and independently.
