Everyone is a V.I.P in our book.

Volunteer at Independent People and help young people reboot their lives... and your own.

Volunteering is a really important part of our organisation, a chance to help us in supporting young people and for you to develop new and existing skills and meet new people. Volunteers have so much to offer and so much to gain.
Independent People supports 16 to 25 year olds who have experienced or are facing homelessness in the West of England. We house and support around 2500 young people to build independent lives every year.
All our Volunteers are looked after as part of the VIP scheme.
Our aim is to make sure everyone gets something out of your volunteering experience: you, us and the young people we support, because we think we’re all VIPs.
Read more about us on the What we do and Who we are pages.
