1625ip Prize Draw 🎉

6th July 2022

Temple Cycles x Tozer Signs Prize Draw aims to raise £5,000 to support 1625 Independent People to deliver vital services to young people facing homelessness in the South West.

We believe it is not enough to just provide a roof over someone’s head; we provide specialist services to support complex needs, providing more responsive, tailored and holistic support, using trusted relationships with a young person as a key ingredient for effective support.

85% of homeless adults with complex needs, those who are also offending or have substance misuse problems, have experienced childhood trauma and to achieve sustained long-term impact on homelessness, we need solutions that reach young people before they develop more entrenched problems.

Funds raised will go towards supporting our specialist projects and services to empower young people to gain the skills to overcome their trauma, and build the confidence they need to achieve their goals. Our specialist services include education, employment and training (EET), mental health and wellbeing, domestic and sexual violence, and support for young people who offend.

Tozer Signs said: “After doing a little interior sign work for 1625 last year and having a peek into their world, and all the wonderful services they provide, I definitely wanted to participate in such an exciting opportunity.”

“I drew on the cool, soothing blue base that the Temple bike provided and warmed it up with some bright, bold illustrative motifs – most of my non-lettering work is led by images of nature and foliage.”

Matt Mears, Temple Cycles Founder said: “As a Bristol-based bicycle maker, we’re very happy to have partnered with 1625IP and donate one of our bicycles to help raise funds for young people facing homelessness in the South West. It was an honour to have Tozer Signs carefully hand-paint her designs onto our bike, and for such a worthwhile cause. The finished product looks amazing, and presents such a special opportunity to own a really exclusive Temple.”

Temple Cycles x Tozer Signs Prize Draw goes live at midday on Thursday 30th June and will run for 2 weeks, with the winner being announced on Friday 15th July. You can buy your tickets (£5 each or bundle deals!) to be in with a chance of winning this one-of-a-kind masterpiece by scanning the QR code below or visiting www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/1625win
