Financial Update 2023-2024

1625 had another busy year in 2023-24, relying on
additional fundraising to support vital but unfunded services for young people. The cost-of-living crisis has made fundraising more challenging, with reduced disposable income among funders and increased competition for grants. 

A major focus has been our Kingsley Hall Heritage Project. Over the past year, we have seen a huge amount of commitment and support for the project, from a wide range of funders including the National Heritage Lottery Fund, Historic England, Bristol City Council, Nisbet Trust, John James Foundation, Pilgrim Trust, and Architectural Heritage Fund. We established a dedicated project team who are shaping our future plans for Kingsley Hall, which will become a central place for young people in the region, with a purpose-driven design that also serves as our charity base.
