We are young people who believe that every young person has a voice that matters. We work to bring positive change to 1625ip and make it the service that young people want and need. We do this by representing the collective voice of young people in meetings with 1625ip’s Trustees and Strategic Leadership Team and make sure young people are heard at every stage of decision making.
Getting involved
We take part in a range of volunteering opportunities. These include taking part in 1625ip recruitment panels, educating and supporting other young people at risk of homelessness, and representing 1625ip. We have spoken at fundraising events, worked on TV productions and contributed to community and council projects to improve local housing. Particular highlights include being interviewed for radio, meeting with the Mayor of Bristol and being featured on a BBC documentary.
If you like the sound of what we do, why not get involved! This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference, build confidence and meet new people. If you’re interested please contact us.
