Sleep Out 2024

7th November 2024

Get ready for Sleep Out 202, our biggest fundraising event of the year, dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Unite for a Common Cause

By Sleeping Out, you will be joining a community of people in Bristol and the South West, who are committed to preventing homelessness. Whilst this night does not seek to replicate the harsh experience of being homeless, it gives an idea of what it could be like.

Together, we can make a difference in young people’s lives.

Why Sleep Out?

1625 Independent People has seen a 30% increase in young people accessing our services. Sleep Out raises vital funds to both support young people and provide these services.

Sleep Out is not intended to replicate the harsh experience of rough sleeping. Instead, it is an opportunity to recognise the impact of your community and join to help prevent homelessness, keep young people safe, and support them to build on their strengths to be the best they can be.

It is a challenging but fun evening which brings together like-minded people who care about young people in Bristol and the South West who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It is also our biggest fundraising event of the year, encouraging individuals and businesses across the area to support our work.

All we hope is that, as you hunker down into your sleeping bag, you will consider some of the experiences you heard throughout the evening from some of the young people we support, our CEO, and other supporters.
