Depuis un certain temps, je souhaitais travailler plus \u00e9troitement avec les jeunes de la ville o\u00f9 je vis et avec ceux qui n'ont peut-\u00eatre pas les m\u00eames r\u00e9seaux de soutien que les \u00e9tudiants avec lesquels je travaille habituellement. J'ai \u00e9t\u00e9 attir\u00e9e par le programme de mentorat 1625 en raison de son objectif d'\u00e9tablir une confiance et une positivit\u00e9 partag\u00e9es entre le mentor et le mentor\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comment 1625 vous a-t-il soutenu en tant que volontaire ? Avec quelles \u00e9quipes ou quels projets vous \u00eates-vous engag\u00e9(e) ? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Je me suis sentie tr\u00e8s soutenue tout au long de mon exp\u00e9rience de mentorat. J'ai eu des rencontres et des conversations r\u00e9guli\u00e8res avec Puegee pour discuter des buts, des objectifs et des d\u00e9fis \u00e0 relever pendant mon temps de mentorat. Avant d'\u00eatre jumel\u00e9e, j'ai \u00e9galement re\u00e7u une formation et des conseils sur les principes fondamentaux du mentorat, ce qui m'a donn\u00e9 un bon aper\u00e7u de la culture de 1625 en mati\u00e8re de soutien aux jeunes. Alors que mon mentorat est maintenant termin\u00e9, je m'engage maintenant avec 1625 sur un projet de photographie du patrimoine, ce que j'attends avec impatience !<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Quelle diff\u00e9rence et quel impact cela a-t-il eu sur vous ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Mon exp\u00e9rience de mentorat a \u00e9t\u00e9, avant tout, une exp\u00e9rience amusante et agr\u00e9able. J'ai pu partager des choses que j'aime avec une jeune personne et, en retour, la voir gagner en confiance et en \u00e9nergie en partageant ces exp\u00e9riences avec moi. J'ai \u00e9t\u00e9 ravie de voir mon mentor\u00e9 \u00e9voluer sur certains plans au cours de notre exp\u00e9rience de mentorat : il est devenu plus loquace, a partag\u00e9 davantage d'exp\u00e9riences de vie et a pris de l'assurance dans les situations de groupe. En outre, cette exp\u00e9rience m'a encourag\u00e9e \u00e0 continuer \u00e0 travailler avec 1625, et je me r\u00e9jouis \u00e0 l'id\u00e9e d'\u00eatre mentor ou de me tourner vers d'autres domaines de soutien \u00e0 l'avenir !<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>En quoi vous sentez-vous plus confiant ? Quelles comp\u00e9tences avez-vous acquises ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Je pense que cette exp\u00e9rience a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 ma capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 comprendre et \u00e0 \u00e9prouver de l'empathie pour des personnes avec lesquelles je n'aurais pas eu l'habitude de m'engager. Cela m'a donn\u00e9 confiance pour les aider et les soutenir et, comme je l'ai dit plus haut, l'envie de continuer \u00e0 travailler dans ce domaine \u00e0 l'avenir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quels sont vos projets pour l'avenir ? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Je travaille avec 1625 sur leur projet de patrimoine Kingsley Hall en juillet. Je soutiendrai un atelier de photographie et j'esp\u00e8re continuer \u00e0 soutenir ce projet \u00e0 l'avenir. Je partirai ensuite en pause professionnelle en janvier (voyage en Asie du Sud-Est !), mais j'esp\u00e8re reprendre le travail de mentorat \u00e0 mon retour \u00e0 la fin du printemps 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Si vous pouviez r\u00e9sumer le travail de 1625ip en une phrase, quelle serait-elle ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le programme de mentorat de 1625 souligne la valeur des \"petites choses\".
