Un groupe de jeunes de 1625ip et deux travailleurs, Grace et Zoe, ont fait un voyage pour voir l'exposition Colston au MSHED. Nous voulions voir comment l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement de l'\u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent avait \u00e9t\u00e9 interpr\u00e9t\u00e9, lancer une discussion sur ce qu'un projet comme celui-ci peut \u00e9voquer dans nos pens\u00e9es et avoir l'occasion de discuter de nos propres r\u00e9actions \u00e0 l'exposition et \u00e0 sa signification.<\/p>\n

Par une journ\u00e9e chaude, nous avons pris notre temps pour explorer l'exposition, en nous accordant le temps et l'espace n\u00e9cessaires pour r\u00e9agir et partager nos sentiments. Certains d'entre nous savaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 beaucoup de choses sur l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement, le travail derri\u00e8re l'exposition et ce qu'ils en pensaient, tandis que pour d'autres, c'\u00e9tait un nouveau territoire. Cependant, un \u00e9v\u00e9nement comme celui-ci nous affecte tous, il est li\u00e9 \u00e0 nos vies et \u00e0 nos exp\u00e9riences, peu importe ce que nous savons ou ne savons pas sur ce qui s'est pass\u00e9, et cela est devenu clair lorsque nous avons commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 parler de ce que nous avons ressenti.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s la visite de l'exposition, nous avons discut\u00e9 des points suivants : l'exposition raconte-t-elle bien ce qui s'est pass\u00e9 l'\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier et quelles en sont les raisons ? Que pensons-nous du racisme et des probl\u00e8mes historiques qui l'entourent \u00e0 Bristol et de la fa\u00e7on dont nous pouvons en discuter ? Les citations des jeunes peuvent \u00eatre trouv\u00e9es ci-dessous.<\/p>\n

Les expositions peuvent contenir des choses que nous n'aimons pas, mais elles nous poussent \u00e0 nous engager sur les questions, nous avons besoin d'apprendre, de grandir, de faire preuve de bon sens.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

L'histoire de chacun est pr\u00e9cieuse, chaque vie et chaque opinion sont diff\u00e9rentes.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
