Southwold House

Southwold House, in Yate provides supported housing for single young people, aged 16-25. It is a medium to low support service, with 10 rooms and is staffed 24 hours.
 
The service provides short-term housing, with support, for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
 

About Southwold House

Southwold House is close to central Yate and is on main bus routes into Bristol. 

All rooms are fully furnished, including a fridge. Kitchens, bathrooms and toilets are shared. Southwold House is self-catering.
  • There are steps and a ramp to the entrance.
  • There is a number of  ground floor rooms
  • All residents have their own room 
  • Communal areas: TV lounge, pool table, garden, IT facilities, laundry, bike store
  • 24 hour access; communal areas close at 11pm
  • Residents are expected to not stay out for more than two nights a week
  • Visitors are allowed between set times, but we do not allow overnight guests
  • Zero tolerance for alcohol and drug use
