We want to give young people the opportunity to make decisions about how 1625ip is run and we also want to provide opportunities that will help you develop your skills and experience.
You can train to become a 1625ip Ambassador and sit on our Youth Board. Here you will represent the views of young people and help senior managers plan services that meet young people’s needs. This is great if you want to influence how we work.
Youth board member
You can help choose new staff for 1625. We will train you and you will join interview panels to help decide who gets the job! This is great experience if you are job hunting yourself and you get rewarded for your time.
You can train to become a Peer Educator. This involves visiting schools, colleges and youth organisations with a member of staff to talk about homelessness. It’s a great way to share your experiences with younger people. It’s great for building confidence and fantastic for your CV. Email us here if you're interested
