1 BIG DATABASE is a place to find out about organisations, support, events and other useful things going on in your area. It is a comprehensive directory of services, community and voluntary organisations, clubs and groups in Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

YOUTH UNLIMITED is the website for young people aged between 13-19 living in the South Gloucestershire area. The site aims to promote positive activities for young people and information for young people on anything from sexual health to transport.

CONNEXIONS is a service for all young people aged 13 to 19 (up to 25 for those with a learning difficulty or disability). Through multi-agency working and the use of Personal Advisers (PAs), Connexions provides information, advice and guidance, youth support, and referral to other services and access to personal development opportunities for young people.

CONNEXIONS JOBS has local job vacanices which are updated every couple of days, as well as advice on CV writing etc.

LAWSTUFF provides a wide range of information to young people about their legal rights and the laws affecting them.  The website contains information on the rights of young people and the laws that affect all aspects of their lives – education, healthcare, discrimination, policing, age-based laws, leaving home and more. It also contains information for young people who are in care or leaving care and for migrant children. 

BTCV are offering a course called the F.L.O.W project (foundation learning outdoors work) for NEET 16-18 yr olds. Projects include barn construction, countryside and woodland management, fence construction, dry stone walling and coppicing. Work towards nationally recognised qualifications in personal and social development with vocational studies, numeracy, literacy, IT. Earn up to £30 a week EMA. READY FOR WORK offer 2 days training, 2 weeks work experience as well as providing ongoing support to help those who have been homeless gain employment.  More info here, speak to your support worker if you're interested.
