C'mon 5G - you can do it!

30/03/2011
Class 5G from St Bonaventure's School are spending a whole year raising money to help young homeless people in Bristol and South Glos. They're more than half way to their target!

Pupils aged nine and ten at St Bonaventure School are trying to raise one thousand pounds by the end of the school year to help us tackle youth homelessness.
The youngsters have been busy raising money since Christmas by carol-singing, running a stall at their Christmas fair, table-top sales, cake sales and having a non-uniform day . They’ve already raised a staggering £600 for us!

Pilar Garcia our Funding and Communication Officer says
“We’re very grateful to the children at St Bonaventure’s. They’re a credit to their school and parents. Dedicating a whole year to raising funds to help other young people shows a very generous nature at such a young age.”
Miss Graham (teacher), said:
"We are so proud of all their efforts and by the end of the Academic Year we hope to raise a grand total of £1,000."
