Bristol City Council award us 7000 pounds to do positive things!

The young people we support and our staff were delighted to hear we've been awarded £7,000 to provide positive opportunities to Bristol's most vulnerable young people.
The funding will create opportunities for young people to get involved in creative and physical activities, a range of confidence-building and self-awareness activities and "Try It 2012" - a positive opportunities, training and employment fair.

Jamie Gill our Service Improvement Director said...
"The competition for funds is really tough, we know there are a lot of organisations doing great work out there. We work with a vulnerable group of young people most of whom have already experienced homelessness and are in transition from childhood to adulthood. This funding can offer life-changing opportunities which they would not be able to access otherwise"
On May 19th 2011, we were awarded almost a million pounds from the Big Lottery Fund to support young people in the West of England with complex needs who are leaving care or Young Offenders Institutions to access better housing, education, employment and positive activities. |
