Hold on a mo!

Friday 27 November 2009

Barry Golten and Yasir Yaseen have both taken up the Movember challenge!

Barry Golten and Yasir Yaseen have both taken up the Movember challenge. Movember (the month formerly known as November) is an annual, month-long celebration of the moustache, highlighting men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer. The Two A-Mo-gos Barry is a Service Manager and Yasir is a Support Worker, both in our South Glos office. Barry's mojo Barry said: I’ve never had a mo without a beard before but I’ve recently thought I’d like to try it as i can’t do much with my hair on top of my head. I have enjoyed growing it as it is a talking point with people who usually talk about only work matters. I don’t like having to shave every day. It is getting to what i envisaged – tho it changes every day. I’m undecided about whether to keep it. I get very mixed reactions from looking like a star in a bad 70’s movie (you can imagine the sort) to village people to Mexican bandido to trucker. At least my partner likes it. Yasir in slo-mo Yasir: I've never had a tash before, prefer the clean shave. I will do it again for a good cause. Its been ok but shaving every other day to make the mo stand out can be a irritating. It's not what I hoped for it's taking too slow to grow. I have a competition with Barry to see who’s is the bushiest and he is winning (old man). Hell no I'm not keeping it! People are offering to give me the money to buy a razor Blade! Want to donate?
